CHELSEA, AL—SBFW Fashion Show
, still voted by CBSNY as a “Top” fashion experience during New York Fashion Week and listed in Forbes Magazine as a “Fashion Event” to attend, continues to raise the bar. This is the premier fashion week platform for independent fashion designers to showcase their collections to a global audience of press, retailers, stylists and industry influencers. This season will feature one of “Season 12 Project Runway’s” finalists. SBFW is “The Place” where major networking (buying and selling) of exceptionally manufactured exquisite garments are displayed on an unparalleled level. Designers both recognizable and emerging, come together from around the world to present their one-of-a-kind couture and ready to wear collections. Yes these high-end pieces typically cater to mass-market retailers; however, they are a big part of the small scale/independent boutique owner’s revenues, including the everyday fashion enthusiasts. This mega affair is known for giving independent gifted designers the opportunity to establish new business relationships with merchandisers and other fashion executives normally not obtainable. This year a combination of over 60 buyers, boutique owners and the like, have confirmed. It is no longer a secret SBFW has turned into one of the best spots during NYFW for spotting celebrities, socialites and other high profile clothing industry specialist. Previous shows has had cast members from Love and Hip Hop (Atlanta) gracing the runway, as well as, international model Diva Davana. “Confirmed”

music/sports executives, and nationally known socialites. SBFW Spring/Summer 2015 will follow its rich tradition of a day packed with lamour, fashion, vending and socializing Saturday, September 6. This one-day runway extravaganza will highlight collections from 40 of fashion’s best designers. SBFW has teamed up with media partners RaineMagazine and TheFashion Hub with David Hall of DJH Photography providing principal coverage and DJHeavyness will be the sound maestro for the eve.
