The Soho Loft Media Group supports Global Deeds Speaker Series to Inspire and Empower At-Risk Youths

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - Aug. 27, 2014 - PRLog -- Katherine Montero, Founder and Executive Director of Global Deeds, will hold a press conference on August 28^th, 2014, at the Cambridge Public Library to formally announce the launch of The Global Deeds Speaker Series.

The Vice Mayor of the City of Cambridge, Honorable Dennis Benzan, and other community advocates will grace the event, and will also be speaking about the youth empowerment initiatives in Cambridge and Boston.

The Science Technology Engineering Art Math (STEAM) committee, organized by Vice-Mayor Benzan, and members of other youth organizations will also be present at the event.

The Speakers series is an online event that will be projected within the auditoriums and classrooms of a large number of high schools across the nation. It will also be made available to employment training offices, juvenile detention centers and other collaborators.

“We want the students to see how others, who may have gone through difficult and disadvantaged situations, were able to overcome those obstacles and succeed at pursuing their passions,” says Katherine of Global Deeds.
