Leading Employee Screening Firm Cleared

MUMBAI, India - Aug. 27, 2014 - PRLog -- In a recent investigation of fake police verification certificates in Bangalore, the police authorities have identified the culprit as one M Vanaraj, who used to act as an outsourced agent for a number of employee screening companies in Bangalore and Chennai. They have also cleared CRP Technologies, a leading employee screening company based out of Mumbai, of all charges in this racket.

The investigation was triggered when the Bangalore Police received a complaint regarding a fake police verification certificate. While the inquiry was initially initiated against CRP, a  thorough investigation showed that the Company had outsourced a part of this activity to Vanaraj, way back in 2012. He was terminated within a few months when the company found anomalies in his work

A CRP spokesperson explaining the chain of events at a recent press meet, stated that they had always been confident of being proven innocent. She also added, “We are in fact happy that this investigation had thrown up gaps in the way employee screening companies are conducting these checks in India, and I am sure all of us will use this experience to make the process more robust”.
