Crucifix Lands Another Magazine Cover As Featured Artist In Ion Indie Magazine

DENVER - Aug. 26, 2014 - PRLog -- As his fan base continues to grow, so do the number of magazines and other media outlets that want to feature Crucifix. With the list of media inquiries growing, the team at Ion Indie Magazine decided to jump in head first. Not only featuring Crucifix, but also giving him the September issue cover spot. The interview with Crucifix was conducted by JP RAWK (Jere Perry), who also serves as ION's Broadcast Media Coordinator. In this in depth interview, JP asks questions that reveals Crucifix's inner thoughts and philosophies, while telling the dramatic story of his stife-filled life, as well as his triumph overcoming adversity. Crucifix's music has been embraced by many fans who can relate to the real world trials that the singer writes about, and expresses through his thought provoking lyrics. The article features song tracks “Steal My Shine” and “Chernobyl”, as well as “The Dreamer” video feature.

ION Indie Magazine was launched by singer/guitarist, journalist, and public relations professional Kiki Plesha to fulfill a dream on her personal bucket list. According to Kiki, the decision to have Crucifix on the cover of this months issue was an easy one to make. Crucifix was brought to Kiki's attention by one of ION's broadcast affiliates and promotional partners, Bruce Lenzi of Twisters Music. When reviewing Crucifix's music, Kiki explains that she sat up straight and felt an instant connection to this artist's lyrics, as well as his soulful sound. After reading his compelling back story, Kiki knew their was no question Crucifix would grace the September cover of ION Indie Magazine. As ION was a dream of Kiki's during hardship, she believed it was destiny that The Dreamer Crucifix would tell his riveting story to ION readers.

The September issue is the fourth issue of this new-launch publication. After assembling a staff of journalists and industry professionals, she formulated promotional partnerships with 15 broadcasters in an effort to get independent music read about and heard. Each month, the music that is streamed in ION Indie Magazine is forwarded to the broadcasters for airplay consideration. Some of the additional partnerships that ION has made with industry insiders includes TBAIMS (The Big Apple Indie Music Series), Shark Alley Entertainment, Utopia Artists/Dream Night Talent Search, Star One Entertainment/Star 1 Records (Viacom licensee), and ReverbNation. Artists selected to appear in ION Indie Magazine are chosen by submissions through the ION website, through their promotional partnership with ReverbNation, or from their own discoveries, as was the case with Crucifix. The magazine has found amazing growth in it's first few months, and Kiki expects that with the addition of Crucifix on the cover of the September issue, the readers will respond to this rising star's music and message as she did... by becoming a FAN.
