PRLog - Aug. 26, 2014 - CULVER CITY, Calif. -- On Friday, June 18th Taylor and Greg from Team TAG were granted the opportunity to take a business trip to the Bay Area and Volunteer with GRID Alternatives. The two solar energy consultants along with Clean Power Finance volunteered to install a 1.5 kilowatt solar panel system for a very deserving family. Through GRID’s non-profit program the Taylor family will benefit both environmentally and economically with their new solar panels that will:
Our team volunteering and installing solar panels!
- produce 85,000 lifetime kWh
- generate $13,000 value of energy through this system over its lifetime (direct savings to the Taylor family)
- prevent 40 tons of carbon emissions (the carbon offset equivalent of planting over 1,000 trees)
Taylor’s favorite part of the trip (besides the family’s name also being Taylor!) was being able to interact with the team and actually physically installing the solar system on the family’s roof.
“Philanthropy is a huge part of Team Tag's core values. We take pride in being able to give back to those in need and installing our product on a family's home brings a huge sense of pride to our profession, knowing that we can effect the community is such a positive way.”
Team TAG looks forward to doing more philanthropic endeavors that not only help the community but the environment as well.
