RecruitMilitary to Honor Avery King as a “Veteran Hiring Leader Who Makes a Difference”

LOVELAND, Ohio - Aug. 26, 2014 - PRLog -- RecruitMilitary, the nation’s leading military-to-civilian recruitment firm, will honor Avery King as a “Veteran Hiring Leader Who Makes a Difference” in the September/October 2014 issue of Search & Employ®, its print and digital magazine. King is lead military veteran recruiter at HCA, Hospital Corporation of America, headquartered in Nashville.

RecruitMilitary will honor 15 hiring leaders in this issue; the company plans to recognize more such men and women in later issues. A panel of four veteran hiring experts at RecruitMilitary nominated the 15 honorees.

All of the honorees have multiple years of experience recruiting veterans and share a passion for veteran hiring and service. Many of the honorees are veterans. Others are members of military families. King served in the United States Air Force as a member of the Munitions Maintenance Squadron at Edwards Air Force Base, California.

Peter Gudmundsson, CEO of RecruitMilitary and a former officer in the Marine Corps, said, “We seek to draw attention to those individuals who get beyond ‘Rose Garden Recruiting’ target announcements, and really accomplish the front-line work of making sure that America’s leading companies take advantage of the opportunity to hire high-quality veteran talent. Gudmundsson hopes that honoring leaders like King will spur more veteran hiring and spread their lessons learned to others.He said that “what drives our firm is that today’s veterans constitute a great treasure of talent and skill.
