Snell & Wilmer Attorney Jim Mulligan Appointed Co-Chair of MDEDC Board of Governors

DENVER - Aug. 26, 2014 - PRLog -- Snell & Wilmer is pleased to announce that Jim Mulligan, a partner in the firm’s Denver office, has been appointed as Co-Chair of the Metro Denver Economic Development Corporation’s Board of Governors.

Mulligan joins existing Co-Chair Ed Will, Chief Operating Officer for Quanta Power Inc. Members of the Board of Governors help design the organization’s annual work plan and serve on special task forces and committees.

In addition, Mulligan serves as a Board and Executive Committee member of the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce and is involved in the Colorado Competitive Council’s Investor Committee. He is also a board member of the National Association of Office and Industrial Properties and serves on the Real Estate Advisory boards for the University of Colorado-Boulder and the University of Denver. Mulligan is currently Board Chair of the Metropolitan State University of Denver Foundation.

Mulligan's practice emphasizes most aspects of commercial and mixed-use real estate, including urban, resort and suburban developments, with an additional focus in the infrastructure and project finance areas of practice. He has represented the real estate ownership, development and finance industries in Colorado and throughout the Rocky Mountain region on legislation, regulatory concerns and other issues.

He also represents corporate and commercial clients on a variety of public policy and government relations issues, initiatives and related legislation.
