Prestigious designation awarded to employees of New Vision Eye Center

Minotty, MD is pleased to announce that employees Rachel Homer, Gabriela Pouzova, Linsey Stevens, and Amanda Forbing have recently achieved the designation of Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA) by the Joint Commission of Allied Health Professionals (JCAHPO).

JCAHPO certification, at any level, is recognized and respected internationally by physicians, employers, administrators, and other ophthalmic and medical personnel.  These staff members have completed an independent study course and passed the COA level examination. COA’s are trained to perform many skilled tasks, and have the knowledge and confidence to provide better patient care. They have demonstrated a high level of commitment to their professional career.
