Sales of Masterpiece Oil Reproductions In China Almost Double As Chinese Elite Prove Their "Success"

Pegasus Productions of Canada can't find enough artists to keep up with the orders for Picasso, Van Gogh, Monet, and Renoir museum-quality replicas as Chinese are "Keeping Up With The Chens"! Over 80 works on back-order at present.

TORONTO - Aug. 26, 2014 - PRLog -- Today Bryan Howard, the General Manager of Pegasus Productions gave a short presentation to a group of investors in which he said "Ten years ago there was not a single masterpiece work of art in China. Today there are 143 Picassos, 232 Monets, a Davinci, 2 Rembrandts, 129 Van Goghs, and over 100 Boteros, Renoirs, Dalis, and assorted others in 22 Provinces of China and Hong Kong." He then admitted they were all just great fakes that the Canadian company began selling in 2012.

As Pegasus is about to embark on a major expansion to include fine reproductions of famous sculptures as well as their trademark paintings, Howard and the company's owner assured investors interested in European distribution rights, that every Pegasus replic work is clearly labeled as a reproduction and a special chip is embedded in each work to alert professional appraisers and museum curators "just in case" someone tries to peddle one of the museum quality pieces as an original.

With the advent of the 3D printer, Pegaus Productions is now negotiating with Japanese and German companies to acquire a large $3 million usd 3D printer that will be able to duplicate sculptures as larges as 5 square meters to within a tolerance of 500 microns accuracy.  Two large MNCs have already requested quotes for such sculptures as well as a 5 star hotel chain that wants to recreate famous world landmarks in 3D for their lobbies and casinos.

By selling the European distribution rights, Pegasus will have the resources to expand global sales by at least 50% over the next year outside of China, which now remains as their primary market with Korea placing a distant second.

Howard confirmed that if current sales of 36 paintings per month continued, they would double the gross sales of 2012 by the end of October. The company also does 3D scenic wall murals for both residential and commercial clients including the CEO of a famous IT company which recently ordered a copy of China's Great Wall be duplicated in 3D in his $12 million dollar home on wall measuring 3 by 5 meters. When completed (90 days) it will be the largest 3D wall art project in China.

Howard biggest concern at the moment however, is finding enough talented artists to join the Pegasus design team. All work is still tediously done by hand and take an average of 6 weeks to create. But it takes their HR team more than 3 months to find just one talented artist with sufficient skills to sign on with the group. "Out of 120 artists we interview, maybe one might make the grade." Howard remarked. Artists who think they may qualify can contact Bryan directly at Pegasus.Productions@post.com to have their portfolio reviewed.
