Hinckley Ohio's Chamber of Commerce is Open for Business

BRUNSWICK, Ohio - Aug. 25, 2014 - PRLog -- A new leadership team, made up of Hinckley business owners and community leaders, volunteered to revive the chamber, after its former president retired and moved away from the community during her term last year. They are:

President - John Feagan, M&T Auto Body
Vice President - Mark Staron, SS Heating, Cooling & Sheet Metal
Secretary - Melinda Mallari Swan, Precision Market Services
Treasurer - Martha Catherwood, Township Trustee

“Bridging Community & Business” is the chamber’s motto, one which the team has action plans to implement with the participation of area businesses and residents. Its annual Buzzard Day event already draws thousands to the area and raises funds for scholarships.

“We want to be an active and unifying force to promote local businesses and the benefits they bring to our residents,” says John Feagan. “Our membership tiers include local clubs, non-profits and individuals. There are a lot more businesses in Hinckley than those along Ridge Road or W. 130^th. We’re hoping to help our community connect,” he adds.

There are plans for a brand new Hinckley Halloween affair, which will be the main topic for the first meeting. All businesses, clubs and individuals who want to participate are encouraged to attend.
