ATLANTA - Aug. 25, 2014 - PRLog -- Engel & Völkers Buckhead Atlanta is pleased to announce the hiring of a new real estate advisor. Suzy Smith brings with her 15 years of experience in the real estate industry that will allow her to provide in-depth market knowledge to buyers and sellers in the Atlanta area.

Prior to real estate, Smith was in the advertising and marketing business. So, she brings a wealth of marketing experience to every home she sells. Licensed in 1999, Smith started in the business working for an Atlanta home builder and developer in the Brookhaven area. She then started her career as a buyer’s agent, working with one of the top real estate teams in Atlanta.

Next, Smith moved to another company where she was consistently ranked as one of the top individual agents in the office, which has been ranked as the No.1 volume selling office in the Atlanta area by the Atlanta Business Chronicle. Her awards include the Phoenix Award from the Atlanta Board of Realtors for 10 years of membership in the Million Dollar Club and being honored as one of the Top 20 Individual Agents with the Atlanta Board of Realtors in 2010.

In making the change to Engel & Völkers, Smith is most excited about the marketing opportunities offers to sellers in all price ranges, but especially those in the luxury market. A resident of Sandy Springs, Smith is involved in The Junior League of Atlanta as a sustaining member of the Fund Development Council. She is also a supporter of Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, the Atlanta Symphony Associates (and is a former co-chair of the Decorator’s Show House) and is involved with her daughter’s school, Holy Innocents’ Episcopal School. Smith also likes visiting family in her native Denver, Colorado, traveling, entertaining, gardening and doing home renovations.
