Wild By Nature Celebrates Grand Opening in West Islip

WEST ISLIP, N.Y. - Aug. 25, 2014 - PRLog -- Wild by Nature, a full-size, full-service natural food marketplace, has opened a 22,000-square-foot store at 478A Union Boulevard in West Islip, New York.  The opening was celebrated on Friday, August 22, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by representatives from Town of Islip and the West Islip Chamber of Commerce as well as Wild by Nature President Joseph Brown, Wild by Nature Vice President General Manager Michael Infantolino, and Wild by Nature West Islip Store Manager Joe Scilla.
     “West Islip residents and all of us in the Town of Islip welcome this exciting new store to the retail mix along Union Boulevard,” said Islip Town Supervisor Tom Croci.  “A natural food marketplace like Wild by Nature is an ideal addition to the surrounding neighborhood and helps keep Captree Shopping Center a vibrant retail destination.  We congratulate Wild by Nature on the opening of their first south shore location in mid-Suffolk County and wish them many years of success serving the West Islip community.”
     The new store occupies a portion of space previously leased by King Kullen.  According to Wild by Nature President Brown, “We’ve had many requests for a store in the area and feel this location is ideal.  Now, West Islip residents and their neighbors can enjoy the same fresh, healthy foods, environmentally sound products, and free-of-cost wellness seminars as shoppers at our other four locations.”
     Wild by Nature opened in East Setauket nearly 20 years ago, followed by stores in Huntington, Hampton Bays, and Oceanside.  Founded on the belief that the production of food should support life, promote well being, and protect the world's natural resources, Wild by Nature meets the needs of health-conscious consumers and those seeking quality goods and services.
