Ex American Idol Finalist Corey Clark Performs Live Saturday August 30, 2014 at 9pm

Aug. 25, 2014 - PRLog -- Infamous R& B crooner Corey Clark,  best known for his season 2 American Idol appearance  has been described as "one of the most impressive top ten finalists of the talent shows second season search".

His musical journey began at age 14 when Clark performed as the lead vocalist in an R & B vocal group called Envy (the group also included the now-Grammy Award-winning singer NeYo) .  Envy opened major shows for major artists such as Mýa, Destinys Child, and performed at the famous Apollo Theater in Harlem, New York. The group signed a recording deal in 2000, and disbanded after eight years of performances.

Clark went on to pursue his solo career  after having auditioned for the reality TV music competition show American Idol in which he garnered much attention and accolades for his vocal stylings. Clark, along with the other second season finalists, recorded RCA Records' The American Idol Season 2: All-time Classic Love Songs soundtrack The soundtrack attained Billboards Top Soundtrack number one spot and sold more than 500,000 copies domestically giving Clark and his fellow second season cast mates Gold record status, as well as making them all number one artists on the Billboard Music Charts for May, 2003.

Clark has re-emerged onto the music scene and is currently touring throughout Southern California.
