Local business coach and HR consultant to host seminar about communication

BARRINGTON, Ill. - Aug. 22, 2014 - PRLog -- What you say and how you say it will determine the quality of your relationships. Because relationships are critical to business growth and success, business and marketing coach Victoria Cook of The Center for Guilt-Free Success, and human resources consultant and leadership coach Andrea Herran of Focus HR are offering a joint seminar focusing on strategies for improving business communication. The four-hour interactive workshop on October 1, 2014 is entitled “How to do Business with Anyone: Profitable Business Strategies”.

Prior to the workshop, Cook and Herran will host two preview seminars in McHenry and Lake County. The Barrington Area Chamber of Commerce will host a seminar on September 12, 2014 while the McHenry Area Chamber of Commerce will host the second seminar on September 16, 2014. Both events will take place from 12p.m. to 1:00p.m. Chamber membership for either seminar is not required.

“Victoria and I have combined our expertise and created a framework to share with business owners, managers and sales professionals to improve their business relationships,” stated Herran. “When we can identify the way in which others communicate we can create stronger more authentic relationships.”

The 60 minute preview will focus on how an understanding of communication styles can also improve networking and gain more referrals. The seminar will also highlight the keys to positive communication and powerful networking.
