Nitin Nair, a leading electronics and telecom patent expert in India, will be delivering a talk on the changing patent landscape in India, and strategies to gain business and competitive advantage. The talk will be delivered as a part of the Seminar on business approach to Intellectual Property being held on 12th September, 2014, at Le Meridien, Bangalore. The seminar is being organized by BananaIP, a premier patent services firm based out of Bangalore.
Starting with an insight into the recent trends in electronics/
telecom patenting in India, Nitin will talk about strategies being developed by companies to use their patent portfolios offensively and defensively. He will also discuss the increasing role of freedom to operate analysis, and the IPAB's role in determining patent validity.
