“For years we have been catering South African cuisine to some of the most exquisite weddings and extraordinary events in and around Houston,” says Chef Paul Friedman. “In addition to catering these events off-site, we look forward to hosting many more events at our banquet facility, as well as cooking in our new catering kitchen.
The 120-seat Acacia room has a private entrance and is equipped with a private bar, HD projector and drop-down presentation screen. The space is ideal for wedding showers, rehearsal dinners and receptions, as well as anniversary and birthday parties, holiday gatherings, business dinners or corporate team meetings. In addition to the Acacia room, Peli Peli also hosts smaller functions in “Noah’s Ark”, a private space within the restaurant that accommodates 40. That room also features a 40-inch plasma television with HDMI input.
In addition to opening the new banquet facility, Peli Peli has been named as one of the preferred vendors for Chateau Cocomar, one of Houston’s most exquisite wedding venues, according to Dana Reeves, Peli Peli’s event coordinator.
