Follow on Google News | Patrick Scott Patterson unveils new logo, brand essenceVeteran video gamer redefines the wording of his role to better reflect his upcoming projects and goals
By: PatrickScottPatterson.com Patterson launched the new logo and tagline earlier this week, changing from the term "video game personality" "How I do things doesn't change, but the terminology aims to clarify what it is I've been doing while making the sky the limit," Patterson said. "Video game culture and history is still the focal point of my activities but without a label that could typecast me." Thus far this year, Patterson has been cited as a video game expert in such media as USA Today, the Indianapolis Star and Playboy and has held speaking engagements across the country, including South By Southwest in March. He, along with his oldest son and his friend Rachel Lara teamed with veteran Dallas news personality David Finfrock to present an award at A-Kon 25 while a front-page feature in the Denton Record-Chronicle featured Patterson's efforts in April. Patterson is also involved in a number of television projects currently in development and made an appearance on Spike TV's 'Frankenfood' in July. He is also appearing in upcoming video game documentary films 'The NES Club', "World 1-1', 'Pixel Poetry', 'MADNESS: The Movie' and 'No Princess in the Castle'. "My goals and apsirations have always reached well beyond the written word and will continue to do so," he added. "Video gaming is pop culture, and I will continue to wave that flag around proudly across all forms of media."
