Temperature@lert’s ZPoint Cellular Edition Expands Communications with Verizon CDMA

BOSTON - Aug. 21, 2014 - PRLog -- BOSTON, MA – AUGUST 21, 2014– Temperature@lert (www.TemperatureAlert.com) announces their expansion of wireless capabilities with their Verizon CDMA certified ZPoint Cellular Gateway. Temperature@lert ZPoint Cellular works with their ZPoint Wireless Sensor line, which includes fault-tolerant, battery-powered wireless sensors for data logging, alerting, remote monitoring, and compliance.

Each ZPoint wireless sensor includes either an internal temperature sensor or dual temperature/humidity sensor, and similarly to the Temperature@lert Cellular edition, they can handle a variety of external plug-and-play smart sensors for flood, dry contact, 4-20mA, 0-5VDC, pressure, rain, wind, and more. Temperature@lert ZPoint Cellular Edition and ZPoint Wireless Sensor line can monitor the ambient temperature and other sensors in your server room, refrigerator, freezer, lab, or other location.

ZPoint Wireless Sensors are able to transmit readings back to the Temperature@lert Cellular gateway from up to 300 feet indoors and up to 1000 feet outdoors. Their fault-tolerant design continues to report data to the cloud even if AC power is lost and can store locally & forward via Verizon Wireless communications thousands of sensor readings if wireless signals are interrupted. ZPoint Wireless Sensors run up to 5 years on two AA batteries making the total cost of ownership (TCO) much lower than comparable systems.
