Verified video security system thwarts hotel break-in

This latest apprehension was aided by the security company’s unique video verification technology.

The Sonitrol monitoring operator, in the wee hours of August 19, spotted video images of two suspicious persons roaming inside the hotel. The operator notified the Washtenaw County, Michigan, Sheriff’s Department, which dispatched deputies to the scene. Soon after, deputies reported that they arrested the two suspects and placed them in custody.
