Company Director Is Always On The Move

Aug. 21, 2014 - PRLog -- The director of a major removals and storage company spends his time away from work by cycling a excrutiating 55-mile race on a vintage bike.

Earlier this year, Geoff Hartwell, and one of the company mechanics, David Charlesworth, entered an annual cycling race in the Peak District, the L’Eroica 2014.

The L’Eroica 2014 is set among the beautiful views of the Peak District and consists of 55 gruelling miles. Along the course riders can take in some of the most spectacular views within the UK.

The race was originally an event that took place in Italy and is unlike any other bike race in that those competing in the 55-mile race have to do so on a bike that pre-dates 1987. Participants also have to wear authentic vintage cycling apparel during the event too.

When Geoff and David aren't helping to move customers from their homes and offices, they are putting their bodies through their paces on their bikes too.

The pair from Advanced Removals took photographs and recorded a video of their time, starting with the reconstruction of Geoff’s bike.
