PRLog - Aug. 20, 2014 - Spiritual Connection is already a growing category at The Healing Waterfall, a website devoted to guided imagery on a variety of subjects. This week, award winning author, intuitive counselor, and business owner Max Highstein added a new program to that section: "Meet Your Guardian Angel".

Running just over 18 minutes in length, the program, which includes Highstein’s soft narration playing over relaxing background music, takes the listener on an inner journey. Engaging the imagination through evocative imagery and enticing ideas, we’re instructed to interact with an angelic being from another dimension. This being, our guardian angel, “has been with us from birth, and stays with us every day of our lives”.

The idea of a guardian angel comes from religion. Indeed, the authors states that this program was inspired by the life of Catholic priest and saint, Padre Pio. “Padre Pio was a 20th century Christian mystic, and a Franciscan monk,” says Highstein. “He was said to be responsible for hundreds, if not thousands of miracles, and lived in a rarified state of spiritual rapture for most of his life. Angels were as real to him as human beings, and he communicated with them as a matter of course. He often spoke about his own guardian angel in particular. His vision and his conviction of spirit were part of what inspired me to compose this program.”

Indeed, Highstein is something of a mystic himself, claiming to have had transcendental spiritual experiences from his late teens on. He discusses these experiences and the spiritual figures he feels himself to be connected to in his iTunes podcast. Over the years, he’s been inspired to author guided imagery programs designed to help listeners experience the presence of Jesus, Mother Mary, Archangel Michael, and Saint Francis of Assisi. All of these programs are available at his Healing Waterfall Website, and some are offered as courses at the popular DailyOm website as well.

Highstein is a big proponent of using guided imagery, or guided meditation, as it’s also called, as a way of experiencing higher levels of consciousness. On his website, he explains, “Guided imagery can help us open our imagination, and receive input from angels, masters, and friends in Spirit as they make subtle impressions in our minds. Such messages can be experienced as words, images, feelings, and simply 'inner knowing'.

"With practice, we can learn to receive these messages, and have a dialog. It's a very healing and illuminating experience to communicate with higher beings this way. And it simply feels wonderful to receive their love. You can use this guided meditation as a doorway into another dimension, and experience this for yourself.”
