According to MoPowered, 30% of mobile shoppers will abandon a purchase if the site is not optimized for mobile, and 41% of shoppers have turned to a competitor’s site after a bad mobile experience, according to Google.
“We realized that without an optimized mobile site, we were missing out on an entire demographic of customers,” says lead designer Melissa Jerome. For more than eight months, the site went through rigorous design and testing. Jerome continues, “We put a lot of time into researching the most user-friendly format and design.”
