COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Aug. 20, 2014 - PRLog -- On Thursday, August 21, 2014 Juliana Herman , Education Legislative Aide to Senator Michael Bennet, and Annie Oatman-Gardner, Regional Director, Pikes Peak Office of Senator Michael Bennet, will visit a Physics class at Carmel Middle School along with Carmel and Harrison School District 2 staff members, Dr. Anatoliy Glushchenko, and See The Change USA’s  CEO Dave Csintyan.

The Physics partnership with Carmel Middle School of Harrison School District 2 and See The Change USA has been very successful.  Starting this August school year, See The Change USA Physics curriculum has rolled out to the districts remaining public schools, to include Fox Meadow Middle School, Panorama Middle School and Mountain Vista Community School.

In reference to the recent TCAP scores released, Wendy Birhanzel, Curriculum, Instructions and Assessment Officer at Harrison SD2 stated “…students in the physics program performed 6% - 4% higher…” See The Change USA’s CEO Dave Csintyan said “We are very excited about our partnership with Harrison School District 2.  Rolling out to the remainder of the public middle schools in the district adds approximately 1,200 more students taking our physics curriculum.  That means approximately 1,200 more students getting critical thinking and 21st century skills that will help them with their future choices.”

Dr. Anatoliy Glushchenko added, “Physics is all around us.  It is the most fundamental of all the sciences. With physics in middle school, students  will gain an understanding of what the world is all about and how it applies to their everyday life. I look forward to the amazing innovations, breakthrough developments, and unprecedented problem solving that these students will bring when they graduate.”

See The Change USA was founded in August 2012 and is a 501 (c) 3 national educational and charitable non-profit organization committed to student advancement in Science and Engineering.  This is accomplished through introducing physics in middle schools, paralleling what is already in existence internationally.
