Catering company to host charity event to help feed homeless

INDIANAPOLIS - Aug. 19, 2014 - PRLog -- A new catering company, Mama’s Boys Catering Company is pleased to announce that it will be hosting a charity event, “Dinner and a Blanket,” on September 22 at Military Park, 601 W. New York St. starting at 5 p.m.

The charity event is geared towards feeding the homeless in the Central Indianapolis area.

“I am giving back to the community in an amazing way through a campaign called Dinner and a Blanket. We will be feeding the homeless and also providing them with a warm blanket during the coming colder months.” said Malcom Hunter, owner of Mama’s Boy Catering.

Mama’s Boys Catering Company was established in 2012 as a catering company that supplies some of the best authentic soul food around but not limited to. The company is based out of Indy’s Kitchen located at 2442 Central Ave.

According to Hunter, “I have cooked for celebrities including K. Michelle, Lance Stephenson, Tyrie Rudolph, Kevin Gates and The Migos.

The company also does catering events throughout Indianapolis and cooks every Friday for the public for only $12. In addition, Mama’s Boy Catering Company has recently signed a contract with Varsity Lounge.

“We will bring you a soul food experience out of this world every Thursday through Sunday beginning this fall.” said Hunter.
