Douglas M. Kramer Joins Shutts & Bowen’s Miami Office as a Partner

MIAMI - Aug. 19, 2014 - PRLog -- Douglas Mark Kramer, a seasoned civil litigator, has joined Shutts & Bowen LLP as a partner in its Miami office. He most recently served as founding partner of his 27-year-old law firm, the Law Offices of Douglas Mark Kramer P.A in North Miami. Mr. Kramer is a member of Shutts & Bowen’s International Dispute Resolution Group.

Mr. Kramer has represented a broad array of commercial clients, including property and business owners and managers, in business, contract, and lease disputes. As a trial lawyer, he has handled all phases of litigation, from discovery through trial and appeals. He has long been rated AV by Martindale-Hubbell, the highest rating available from the legal information service.

Early in his career, Mr. Kramer was a law clerk for the late Florida Supreme Court Chief Justice Arthur England and an instructor at the University of Miami School of Law.  He graduated in the top 5 percent of his class and was a member of the Law Review at the University of Miami School of Law. Mr. Kramer received his B.A. from Emory University. Born in Pittsburgh and raised in Miami, he currently lives in Coral Gables.
