By: Texas Trust Credit Union Scholarships will be awarded to 20 students attending the University of Texas at Arlington. Each student will receive $500 toward tuition or books. Student scholarship recipients will be selected by the Grand Prairie Education Foundation in the spring of 2015. "Texas Trust is helping bring Dr. Carolyn Wicker's dream alive," said Bernie Ponzio, incoming president of the GPISD Education Foundation, speaking of the current board president. "Dr. Wicker's vision for the foundation has been to provide a scholarship to every student interested in attending college."
