Lelobooks re-introduces The Fountainhead by Ayn Rand's

GURGAON, India - Aug. 19, 2014 - PRLog -- The Fountainhead has been written by Ayn Rand's which is a book carrying the struggling story of an architect who believes in following his his commitment to his art despite institutional resistance, he meets with in the form of the cult of traditionalism. The protagonist of the novel, Howard Roark is an architect with fervor and assurance about the modern architecture being superior to the one which is tradition-bound. He painstakingly persists in following the vision of architecture he has embraced. In the right sense of the word he is markedly individualistic.

In the course of the novel, you will see other characters relating themselves with Roark in various important forms. They are prototypes of human character, expressed through imitation of Roark, Ayn Rand's idea of the perfect man who acts as a free spirit combined with integrity, and characters considered by her as the second-hand creatures. It is very interesting read, fascinating the readers with philosophical notions and theories.

However, the novel has its victory point, while defining its theme being individualism suppressing collectivism. The success of the novel can be determined from the fact that as far back as in 1943, when marketing tactics were not as advanced and developed as they are today, it sold over 6.5 million copies worldwide and became the best-seller.
