Honorees were selected for excellence in sales, leadership, community involvement and for having demonstrated ingenuity, creativity, and leadership in their careers.

A native to Long Island’s North Shore who works out of Daniel Gale Sotheby’s Locust Valley office, Mateyunas has been schooled in the arts in the United States and Italy and holds degrees in art history and business. He is the author of North Shore Long Island Country Houses 1890-1950 and Long Island’s Gold Coast, has been curator of several exhibitions and often lectures on the subject. He resides in Huntington.
