DALLAS - Aug. 18, 2014 - PRLog -- (GRAPEVINE, Texas) August 18, 2014 – Cotton Patch Cafe, a family-owned restaurant chain based in Grapevine, Texas, today announced a 25th Anniversary contest that will reward 41 of its most loyal customers – one from each restaurant – with free Cotton Patch Cafe food for a year. The contest will run from September 1, 2014 to September 15, 2014.

2014 marks the restaurant’s 25th year of serving up southern inspired comfort foods, such as Chicken Fried Steak and Chicken and Dumplings, and flavorful grilled entrees. To celebrate the milestone, Cotton Patch’s 25th Anniversary contest will give customers a chance to be rewarded for their loyalty and continued business.

During the contest, each local store manager will select five loyal customers who have become part of the Cotton Patch family. Each winning customer will have their photo taken and will be presented with a customer appreciation award and a $50 gift card. The photos will then be posted in a special album on the Cotton Patch Facebook page. Once posted, Facebook fans will “like” the photos to vote for a winner from each Cotton Patch restaurant. The customers with the most Facebook likes per city will make up the winners. All 41 winners will receive free Cotton Patch for a year.

In addition to awarding free Cotton Patch for a year to 41 customers, Cotton Patch will select a winning community by identifying the restaurant with the most collective “likes” across the five customer photos submitted. The winning community will receive the honor of having a unique, locally-inspired Cotton Patch dish, created by Executive Chef Lex Berlin, named after their town. Cotton Patch will also host a celebratory party at the winning restaurant. The winning community will be announced on September 16th, 2014.

“At Cotton Patch, our customers are like family to us,” said Larry Marshall, owner at Cotton Patch Cafe, Inc. “We’re fortunate to celebrate our 25th anniversary of serving 41 wonderful communities, and we want to share our excitement with our family – the customers who have become such an important part of both their local community and Cotton Patch. These individuals have made many special memories at their local Cotton Patch restaurants, and we want to thank them for standing by us all these years.”

In addition to the contest, Cotton Patch will celebrate the anniversary with specials throughout the month of September. Specials include free mini pieces of Cotton Patch’s famous Dr. Pepper Chocolate Cake on September 3; half price Homemade Queso every Tuesday; and $6.99 Chicken Fried Steak Monday through Thursday during the weeks of September 8 and 15.

Cotton Patch began in Nacogdoches, Texas, in September 1989, and now has 41 locations throughout Texas, Oklahoma and New Mexico; with the 42nd location opening in Greenville, Texas later this month. The restaurant was founded by Larry Marshall and Mike Patranella, who envisioned a restaurant that offered great food, made fresh daily by caring members of the community.
