As a strategist and speaker, she has a decade of experience in marketing communications, event planning and nonprofit development, delivering exceptional performance, with a high emphasis on social good and cultural entrepreneurship. She has delivered targeted, comprehensive public relations campaigns that heighten consumer awareness, participatory outcomes and social action. Her strengths lie in coalition building, copywriting, volunteer mobilization and social media. As an experienced fundraising and communications practitioner, Monica has consulted for national non-profits, humanitarian organizations, media outlets, professional associations, community groups, faith based institutions, small businesses and solopreneurs. Monica holds a Bachelors degree in Broadcast Communications from Temple University and is finishing a Master of Arts degree at the prestigious LaSalle University in Public Relations & Corporate Communications (ABT).Monica strives to make a positive difference in her community, routinely volunteering, mentoring and consulting with small businesses and community groups.
