TriFoil Imaging installs Triumph II SPECT/CT at LSU Baton Rouge

 
Aug. 15, 2014 - PRLog -- CHATSWORTH, CA. – August 14, 2014 -- TriFoil Imaging is proud to announce the recent installation of its Triumph II SPECT/CT imaging system at the flagship campus of Louisiana State University (LSU). This latest system will be part of a new Small Animal Imaging Facility headed by the Chair of the Department of Comparative Biomedical Sciences, Dr. Michael Mathis. The Baton Rouge installation is the second Triumph system to be installed at LSU, with the other Triumph located on the LSU Health Shreveport campus.

Dr. Mathis stated , ”We are all excited to have the Triumph system on the LSU campus, as we envision this instrument will become a catalyst for new interdepartmental collaborations and collaborations with our neighboring Institutions. There have already been interested users from multiple departments including Biology, Chemistry, and Physics and Astronomy, as well as the School of Veterinary Medicine.

The Triumph II SPECT/CT system will be used to follow disease progression and therapeutic outcomes in models of cancer and cardiovascular and neurodegenerative diseases.
