MyNetwork™ Launches Personal Network Management Application

ALLENTOWN, Pa. - Aug. 15, 2014 - PRLog -- Two Bucknell University alumni have developed an application to manage contacts from social media and email in a private platform to better nurture personal and professional relationships. MyNetwork™, a cloud-based software, helps users determine when and how they should communicate with their connections, using tools to track relationship histories and social feeds. Co-founders Andy Fine and Drew Riley initiated the project in their final year as undergraduates at Bucknell University when Fine found himself overwhelmed with new networking contacts and no way to organize and maintain them.

“I had a personal need that wasn’t met by anything I saw out there,” Fine says. “Facebook and LinkedIn are great network aggregators, but [they] aren’t great relationship managers.”

Fine and Riley sought a way to integrate social media with their passion for meaningful networking. After two years of development and countless beta versions, the product includes features that optimize organization and encourage worthwhile communication.

“We [want to] help people all over the world build stronger connections with their important contacts,” Fine says.

Available online and soon to be available in the iPhone App Store, MyNetwork™ allows users to catalogue contacts, formulate messages, and track interactions. The five-step registration process imports social media and email contacts, which are then assigned attributes to determine when and how often users should interact with them. The MyVisualizer tool offers an intricate representation of a user’s refined network in the form of an interactive web. Detailed profiles containing career, relationship, social network, and follow-up information lend the best lead for a user’s next interaction with a connection. MyNetwork™’s Intelligent Messaging System offers templates to utilize these leads in an email, InMail, Facebook post, or tweet. The system also includes cover letter and resume templates, as well as active content suggestions.

With the belief that “people are your #1 asset,” Fine and Riley want to provide access to valuable tools and information to anyone anywhere. The native iOS app offers full access to contact profiles, which include relationship histories, social feeds, and past interactions. Users can log new interactions and new profiles using the built-in business card scanner and easy-tap fields to add attributes and set reoccurring reminders. With iPhone and Android-compatible apps in the works, the company strives to offer users an on-the-go solution to professional and personal networking.

“MyNetwork™ can benefit anyone in the professional workforce... [who] is trying to move up and advance their career,” says Fine, who points out that 48% of recent college graduates are underemployed. He also feels that personal relationships have recently suffered from the impersonality of social networks, and Fine believes that the application has the potential to restore severed social ties.

Available on August 15, 2014, new users can access the program online at www.mynetwork.io. Monthly subscriptions are $4.95 or $49.95 for an annual subscription, and referral programs are available to earn customers credit on future subscription purchases. A free 30-day trial is available to all users.
