ATLANTA - Aug. 14, 2014 - PRLog -- BlackBride.com (http://www.blackbride.com), popular online bridal site exclusively for women of color is slated to launch a unique digital bridal magazine on September 10, 2014. The magazine, an extension of the long running website, will be home to the greatest love stories, featuring real weddings and engagements.
Black Bride Magazine (BBM) will continue to serve and highlight women of color by offering its subscribers inspirational styled shoots, the latest bridal fashion trends and expert tips on dream wedding planning. The inaugural issue of the semi-annual digital magazine is set to release late summer 2014 and will serve as a preview of the rich content that will be offered throughout the year. BBM also serves as a vendor resource directory offering wedding professionals the opportunity to advertise to an untapped market of brides.

Black Bride magazine claims its stakes digitally by not only serving as a full service bridal trade publication but also includes a happily-ever-after with the highly anticipated “After the Aisle” section that looks at how to keep a marriage healthy with date night tips, home decorating ideas, financial advice and more. The company predicts that the magazine will pick up around 30,000 readers with the first issue with an increase by 50% in forthcoming issues.

CEO and Editor Mary Chatman stands firmly behind the success of Black Bride which has served brides of color since 1998 and looks forward to the future of the magazine, “You very rarely see women of color featured online, in print, on the bridal fashion runway, or on television. African-Americans alone spend more than $1.6 billion annually on weddings. We want to shine the light on brides of color in an elegant, chic, positive manner, while providing them with the best resources in planning the most important day of their lives.” The company was acquired by Chatman in 2011, who is determined to support women of color across the globe and welcomes all brides regardless of race or ethnicity to find inspiration on the website and magazine.
