Finishes

Volterra offers five finishes: Primed (ready for paint or stain), Mahogany, Oak, Walnut and Espresso. A primed finish can be stained or even painted to  give a beautiful, clean, and sharp look to any room. However, if you would like a more natural look one of the wood stain finishes may be for you. The mahogany finish provides a rich auburn color that can easily transform a simple room into a regal space. If you are looking for a lighter look, the golden brown oak finish may be the perfect fit. Or, if you want something dark and classic, a deep walnut or a dark brown espresso finish is exactly what you need.

Textures

In addition to a variety of finishes, Volterra artificial ceiling beams come in a range of textures as well. This feature adds to the realism of the beams, making them appear authentic. Volterra’s texture options include the following: Doug Fir, Tuscany, Sand Blast, and Rough Sawn. Douglas Fir is commonly found in the Pacific northwest. These vertically lined beams feature a wider, smoother grain and will add an element of craftsmanship to your design. The Tuscany texture features rustic deep pits and grooves for an old world finish. For a more transitional style, the Sand Blast last or Rough sawn textures may be for you. And the popular new texture, chiseled Hand-Hewn texture has less of a structured grain and giving a log cabin vibe.
