HydroPeptide Announces Addition of New Executive Vice President

ISSAQUAH, Wash. - Aug. 14, 2014 - PRLog -- HydroPeptide has announced the appointment of Neal Kitchen, Ph.D. as its Executive Vice President of Strategy and Development.  Most recently serving as Senior Product Manager of primary antibodies at Thermo Fisher Scientific (TMO), Dr. Kitchen has more than a decade of protein biology research and experience with product development, marketing, and sales. He will be focusing on the development of HydroPeptide's growth strategy and leading the company’s efforts to accelerate the development of clinically proven anti-aging skin care products and the advancement of peptide technology in skincare formulations.

Dr. Kitchen's appointment comes at a time of growth in the skin care industry, with increasing number of companies manufacturing a range of new skin care components, including botanical stem cells, organic extracts, and signaling peptides. Celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2014 with a brand re-launch, HydroPeptide has established its reputation as the leading peptide-based anti-aging cosmeceutical line, advancing the industry through synergistic formulations that take advantage of the latest peer-reviewed research on peptides and cellular signaling pathways.

Prior to his new role, Dr. Kitchen spent the past five years managing over 40,000 products involved in protein biology research, focusing on the development of new products for the life science industry. He also coordinated the global marketing activities that helped position his previous employer as a leader in the industry.  Dr. Kitchen also has an extensive research background in epigenetic regulation and cellular signaling responses, including a background in aging mechanisms and signaling peptides at the molecular level.

“I am truly excited for the opportunity to bring my experience and knowledge in the life science industry to HydroPeptide and the skin care industry,” says Dr. Kitchen. “I have admired the passion and potential for this industry to make a significant impact to the physical and emotional well-being of its customers.  While serving as a member of HydroPeptide's Board of Advisors over the past year, I have grown enamored with the vision and intensity of this team.  I am honored to be joining the organization full-time and look forward to what’s ahead."

Dr. Kitchen received his Ph.D. in Molecular Biology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and an M.B.A. at Rockford University.
