The first addition to Wild Florida’s menu of offerings is the “Keeper for a Day” experience, which allows visitors over the age of 12 to get an in-depth look at the daily duties of an animal keeper. Participants will plan animals’ diets, administer feeding times, and take part in animal training and enrichment activities. After handling and feeding a live alligator, visitors are taken into the heart of Florida’s wildlife on an hour-long airboat tour and provided with a real Florida BBQ lunch. Tickets, which must be booked 24 hours in advance, are $199 for up to four party members.
The second exciting new experience package is Wild Florida’s “Behind the Scenes Tour.” Guests over the age of 8 will receive an exclusive tour of the wildlife park, led by an experienced and knowledgeable animal keeper. All participants will have the opportunity to feed a variety of animals and even get a personalized meet and greet with one of Wild Florida’s fascinating exotic animals. Tickets are $40, and tours are available daily.
“With our new Animal Experiences packages, we hope to give our visitors an exclusive firsthand look at Florida’s fascinating wildlife,” said Porter Brown, representative of Wild Florida. “By providing opportunities that are both exciting and educational, we hope to increase awareness and investment in Florida conservation and eco-friendliness.”
