By: The Jersey Shore Convention and Visitors Bureau The Board of Directors of the Jersey Shore Convention & Visitors Bureau are pleased to announce this year’s honorees: Lifetime Achievement Award, "This award is presented to the person who has been a long standing figure who has had an immense impact on NJ Shore tourism." This award is given to Robert Provost, formerly of The Star Ledger. Anchor Award, "Honoring an individual or organization who has been a force for positive change and an asset to the Jersey Shore community." This award is given to The Jersey Shore Partnership, being accepted by Margot Walsh. Rising Tide Award, "Honoring an organization that, although new to the Jersey Shore, has quickly made a exceptional impact on tourism." This award is given to Laurita Winery’s Ray Shea and Randy Johnson. The Spirit of the Shore Award, "Honoring an organization that, although new to the Jersey Shore, has quickly made a exceptional impact on tourism." This award is given to Patti Baxter of Spark Marketing Solutions. The Icon Award, "Honoring an individual or organization which embodies the essence of the Jersey Shore." This award is given to John Leggett of Leggett’s Sand Bar.
