Shermco Industries to Host Webinar on Insulating Oil Analysis

Presented by Gerald Sellers, lab manager for Shermco’s Oil Analysis Laboratory, the webinar will cover predictive testing of large liquid filled power and distribution transformers, a core element of a comprehensive electrical maintenance strategy for power distribution systems.  Sellers will review the following:

What is insulating oil and why do we use it?
Why analyze insulating oil?
What tests should be performed and what do they tell you?
DGA and predictive testing explained.

Sellers is a 30 year seasoned professional in the field of oil analysis. He has designed and installed analytical labs, established testing procedures and protocols and trained lab technicians across the US. Sellers is a level 1 and 2 Machinery Lubricant Analyst certified through ICML and maintains current status on procedures and methods issued by ASTM and IEEE.
