LOS ANGELES - Aug. 14, 2014 - PRLog -- The dark comedy web series "Dirty Cues" directed by Cesar Gamino has been accepted into the 2014 HollyShorts Film Festival. The ensemble web series follows rookie FBI Agent Daniel Brooks whose first undercover mission is to infiltrate a Colombian cartel suspected of laundering money through their Spanglish films. Daniel’s allegiance to his government is tested when he is tempted to follow his heart instead of his oath.

Directed by Cesar Gamino and written by Susie Lohse, "Dirty Cues" was born out of their desire to showcase amazing talent and original material with a Latin flair. Their first project together, "The Violinist", was well received on the film festival circuit screening at over 35 festivals worldwide earning 11 awards and five nominations.

“I really wanted to create something episodic and feature the talents of the actors I've met,” says Cesar Gamino, Director. "The first season is almost finished with the last two episodes, now in post. We're in talks right now with different online distributors to find the right home for the show."

Produced by Violinist Pictures, the ensemble cast includes: Cesar Gamino, Bryan McClure, Moniqua Plante, Shana Eva Paredes, Lindy Loundagin, Jon Gormley, Brianna Knickerbocker and Marissa Nans.
