Wartburg Opens Home Health Office in Queens, NY

MOUNT VERNON, N.Y. - Aug. 12, 2014 - PRLog -- WESTCHESTER’S WARTBURG OPENS HOME HEALTH OFFICE IN QUEENS

Mount Vernon, NY, August 11, 2014 -- Wartburg, an award-winning provider of comprehensive services for seniors in Westchester and the Bronx, has opened a Wartburg Care at Home office at 5 Continental Avenue in Forest Hills in Queens.

The new office will provide skilled nursing, medication monitoring and home health aide services (even a “bath and breakfast” service) for seniors who live in Queens, Manhattan, Bronx, Brooklyn and Nassau County.

“The expansion into Queens and surrounding boroughs and counties builds on the success of our home care services in Westchester and in the Bronx,” said David Gentner, president and CEO of Wartburg.  “While we have a beautiful 34-acre campus with new adult day care and rehabilitation facilities, as well as assisted and independent living residences, home care is at the core of our vision – to keep older adults in their homes as they age.”
