WILSON, N.C. - Aug. 13, 2014 - PRLog -- Butterfly is proud to sponsor and announce the upcoming 2014 Butterfly Badger Open table tennis tournament. The 2014 Butterfly Badger Open is a USATT sanctioned 4-star event that will be held September 20 & 21, 2014 at the Center Court Sports Complex in Waukesha, Wisconsin.

The Badger Open is hosted by the Milwaukee Table Tennis Club, and 2014 marks the seventh year for the tournament director Linda Leaf and this great weekend of fun and competition. The 2014 Butterfly Badger Open offers over $10,000 in prize money including a $1,800 first place prize for the Open Singles event. This year features 22 events, 36 Butterfly professional table tennis tables and large playing courts. Included in the 22 events is a new 51 point handicap event on Friday night, September 19^th. Entry in the handicap event is free for players rated over 2300. The tournament also features a recreational event that is open to any unrated player (sign up for this event is open until 3:30 pm on Saturday).
