Eli Goldratt's infamous P&Q Example comes to the iPhone

COLUMBUS, Ohio - Aug. 12, 2014 - PRLog -- The late Dr. Eli Goldratt developed a business management methodology known around the world as the Theory of Constraints (TOC). It is the primary focus of his first book, The Goal. It consists of both a set of tools, known as The Logical Thinking Process, and philosophy that postulates that organizations made up of humans like businesses, are limited by one "weakest link" at any moment in time.

When Jeff 'SKI' Kinsey wrote the business leadership guide, Purple Curve Effect, Goldratt granted permission to include his now infamous P&Q Example in the book. Both authors used this example hundreds of times to explain the concept of business constraints to otherwise intelligent business managers.

Just as a physical chain has "one weakest link" so too an organization. This PnQ Sim will document the law in a simple yet effective manner. This simulation is based on the P&Q Example from SKI's book, and the complete text from Chapter 26 explaining the challenge is included in the app as "instructions".
