S-cool publish student clearing poll results

BRISTOL, U.K. - Aug. 12, 2014 - PRLog -- S-cool, the UK’s leading revision website, recently asked their audience a series of student polls focused on University Clearing.

1. 46% of students think teachers give best careers advice

Students were asked the question, "Who do you think gives best clearing advice?"  The majority of students (46%) chose Teachers, while 24% preferred Family, closely followed by friends (19%) while only 10% thought a Careers Advisor would give the best advice.

2. Less that 30% of students are confident of getting their grade for University

Students were asked the question, "Are you confident about getting the grades you need? 40% said No, 31% chose Maybe and 29% were confident."

3. Only 21% of students think Clearing is their best option

Students were asked the question, "what would you do if your results are disappointing." 64% said they would re-take the exam, 15% would request a re-mark while 21% would just hope they could get a place through Clearing.
