Tickets on Sale for Cairns' First Empowering Women Conference

CAIRNS, Australia - Aug. 12, 2014 - PRLog -- Ms Vallely said the conference, which will be held later next month on Saturday, August 23, was a first for Australia, creating a unique opportunity to bring what is essentially an online community together for one day.

“The Imperfect Mum is a community that provides solace for women all over the world. We talk about day-to-day motherhood concerns including nutrition, education, behaviour management, relationships and a broad range of family matters.

“This conference is an extension of this and in an Australian first, it will provide an opportunity for these women who share so freely in our online cummunity, to meet others who may have similar stories, outside of the internet and in real life as well as hear from five absolutely fantastic high profile speakers,” she said.

Since The Imperfect Mum was established three years ago, Ms Vallely has seen her online community grow to more than 34,000 women who offer support and non-judgement.

She said the purpose of the conference was to empower and inspire the women that attend to take action in their lives, that will help them to be fulfilled and positive as possible.

“It is about learning to be you. It is about surrounding yourself with people that have aspirations similar to yourself and people that have made a positive impact in your life.

“People that lift you up rather that pull you down. It is also about being that for others – be the person that lifts others up, by doing so you will attract similar types of people.”

High-profile speakers include Suzie Botross, influential blogger and author of Break Free from Motherly Guilt and childhood behavioural consultant Nathalie Brown from Easy Peasy Kids.

Other speakers include Kirri White from Kirri White Coaching, and Shelley Evans Wild from Unique People.

There will be a number of exhibitors on the day as well goodie bags to giveaway filled with lots of freebies.
