Kuester Management Group Raises Money For Rheumatoid Patient Foundation in Charity Bartender Event

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Aug. 12, 2014 - PRLog -- Community service is by no means foreign to Kuester Management Group, and in the company’s latest “Kuester Cares” event, the HOA management group brought in $1,256.00 for the Rheumatoid Patient Foundation. Several Kuester employees participated in the Charity Guest Bartender Event, seeking to bring in big tips in service of arthritis research and care. The event was held on August 6.

“Kuester Management Group tries to do good work on behalf of several worthy community organizations, and Rheumatoid Patent Foundation is one that we feel particularly strongly about,” comments Bryan Kuester, president of the company. “We support the organization because of our own Melissa Merritt-Darden, who has worked with the Foundation in the past. She is a critical member of our team, and we chose to participate in this event as a way of honoring her.”

The Charity Guest Bartender event was held at the Grapevine Wine Shop, located in the Baxter Village community in Fort Mill, South Carolina. For one evening only, a handful of Kuester team members stepped behind the bar to serve drinks and earn tips, ultimately serving for five hours total. All of the funds raised went directly to the Foundation; in addition to the four Kuester employees who served, several others made donations, came out to the event, or supported it in some other way.

“It wasn’t just our employees who supported this work, but also several of our local vendors,” Kuester notes. “We are pleased to have received support from NCA, Owl Roofing, and Carolina Asphalt. Representatives from these companies came out to the event and donated, and we are grateful for their support.”

The Rheumatoid Patient Foundation seeks to provide comfort and relief to the 1.5 million Americans afflicted with the condition; the majority of these are women.
