Phinney has an A.B. from Harvard College and an M.B.A. from Columbia University Graduate School of Business.
He has been a featured speaker at the Annual Conference for the Cape and Plymouth Business Journal, the XPX Summit, the Family Firm Institute Annual Conference and the Annual Meeting of Deutch and Company in Sarasota Springs, New York. Phinney has also authored numerous industry articles on the subjects of succession and organizational improvement
He has been a member of XPX Boston for more than two years and also holds membership in the Family Firm Institute, New England Chapter.
Phinney is an active volunteer at St. Paul’s Church in Dedham and Middlesex School in Concord and additionally performs various volunteer functions at several other organizations in the Boston area.
