Dr. Goleman’s 1998 article in the Harvard Business Review, “What Makes a Leader?” received the highest reader ratings, becoming the Review’s best-selling reprint for 1999. His book Emotional Intelligence was on THE NEW YORK TIMES bestseller list for a year-and-a-half. There are more than 5 million copies in print worldwide.
