Annual Cuts for Kids Event Was a Success

TULSA, Okla. - Aug. 11, 2014 - PRLog -- Clary Sage College (CSC) hosted its 6th Annual Cuts for Kids event offering free back-to-school haircuts for all school-aged children in the Tulsa metro community.

“Everybody was so involved. It was such a great way to give back,” said Kent Berry of CSC.

CSC’s barbering and cosmetology students performed 1,257 haircuts, surpassing all previous years. The services were performed by both by cosmetology and barber students and alumni and were meant as an opportunity to gain real-world experience as well as give back to the community.

“Next year our goal will be 1400 [haircuts],” said Berry.

The colleges are looking forward to their 7^th Annual Cuts for Kids event next fall.
