Trade In Your Old Hearing Aids For New With Connect Hearing

The hearing specialists are searching for the owners of the oldest hearing aids in every Australian state and territory to reward with a brand new replacement.

PRLog - Aug. 10, 2014 - Hearing aid wearers take note. Connect Hearing have launched The Search for Australia’s Oldest Hearing Aid and will be giving away hearing aids valued at up to $11,690* to a handful of lucky winners. The owners of the oldest hearing aids in each state and territory have a chance to win.

Hearing aids have come a long way since the old “beige bananas.” New models are developed using the latest in digital technology and some are virtually undetectable. The hearing aid industry is focussing on both the sound quality and aesthetic appeal of hearing aids now more than ever before. This new focus has produced some cutting-edge technology that both looks and works at the highest standard.

Having the right hearing solution helps people with hearing difficulties participate more fully in family, social and work environments. This can help to alleviate some of the difficulties that hearing loss can cause in both personal and professional relationships.

This August, Connect Hearing want to know if you have an old hearing aid and how you could benefit from an upgrade to a brand new set. One person in every state will win a personal fitting for a free set of hearing aids. Would this help you at work, at home, or perhaps allow you to spend more quality time with your children or grandchildren? Connect Hearing wants to know.

Connect Hearing Marketing Manager Duncan Armour said that it’s not a simple matter to judge your own level of hearing loss:

“Hearing changes over time. Having your hearing checked by a clinician every two or three years will help make sure that you have the best solution for your current level of hearing loss,” he said.

No one will walk away empty-handed from The Search for Australia’s Oldest Hearing Aid, with Connect Hearing giving away complimentary copies of their exclusive hearing aids guide.

“Every competition entrant will receive a free copy of the 2014 Consumer’s Guide to Hearing Aids. So even if you’re not the winner in your state, you can review some of the newer models and get on track to better hearing,” Armour added.

Entry to The Search for Australia’s Oldest Hearing Aid free, entrants can do so online at connecthearing.com.au/oldesthearingaidor by visiting one of 134 Connect Hearing Clinics around Australia.

*Terms and conditions apply and are available to view online or at a Connect Hearing clinic.
