South Carolina’s Best Places to Work 2014 initiative identifies, recognizes and honors the top employers in South Carolina in two groups: companies with fewer than 250 employees, and companies with over 250 employees. The program is sponsored by the S.C. Chamber of Commerce and SC BIZ News.

Companies from across the state entered the two-part process to determine the Best Places to Work in South Carolina. The first part consisted of evaluating each nominated company's workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems and demographics. The second part consisted of an employee survey to measure the employee experience. The combined scores determined the top companies and the final ranking.
